Big Bend at Zion National Park in Utah

The receding red rock cliffs at Zion National Park along the Virgin River, glow with a diffused purple from the early morning light. In addition to this wonderful scene, I was also treated to a view of two bald eagles at Big Bend. One eagle took of from the shadows of the cliff, hundreds of feet above the canyon floor, to soar into the sunlight.
