China Cove at Point Lobos, Carmel, California
China Cove is one of the most beautiful places in the world. As I arrived the sun was coming up over the mountain, sending beams of light down the cove turning the water the most amazing green. There were a dozen seals and sea otters swimming in the kelp and playing in the surf. It was spectacular. I hoped that my palette would do it justice. Painted and sold at the Carmel Art Festival 2011.
