Vasquez Rock
Vasquez Rocks, with its dramatic diagonal cliffs silhouetted against the blue sky, is the quintessential old west landscape. I was further rewarded when a horse and rider came by late in the morning. This classic western scene could be from a hundred years ago but I painted it just a half hour drive from my home.
