Boats at Balboa Island
Inspired by a plein air painting completed at Balboa Island, this painting captures the hazy morning sunlight just as the fog is starting to dissipate. The diffused light casts a thoughtful mood on the pier and docked boats. Won Best of Show at the 2011 Gallery 800 Spring Exhibition.
