Stairway to Heaven I am happy to announce that my painting Stairway to Heaven, has been juried into the California Art Club's upcoming exhibition, Concertos in Color, at the historic Blinn House. The reception is December 6, 2008 from 5 PM to 7 PM at: The Blinn House Women's City Club 160 N. Oakland Avenue Pasadena, California, 91101 T: 626:796-0560 This is a great opportunity to meet and see some of the new, upcoming artists in the Los Angeles area. Entering Grapevine Park If you have been following my blog you know that I have been out painting plein air. I am currently showing three of these paintings at the Plein Air San Gabriel Exhibition, the first annual event sponsored by the San Gabriel Fine Arts Association. I painted all the paintings over two weeks on location in San Gabriel. It was the first time I had been to the San Gabriel Mission and the nearby area. I found so many wonderful places to paint it was difficult to do only three. The exhibition continues through November 28th, 2008 at SGFAA Gallery at 425 W. Las Tunas, San Gabriel, CA 91776.
