Poppies on the Cliff

       I still have Carmel on my mind, so I decided to paint a scene that I imagine would have been there if the sun had been shining, instead of the fog. I didn't take it from a photograph but composed an imaginary place with a great view and all the elements I love. Lot's of contrast, beautiful colors, a row of cliffs receding in the distance and waves crashing against the rocks.
